续2008年的《海角七号》，2009年《听说》后，今年台湾另一部卖座电影就是《艋舺》了。
在《艋舺》还没上映之前，我赶紧看了《听说》。
《听说》是部好静的电影。多半用了手语，是个蛮新鲜的题材。而且结果还真的出乎我预料。

最后ending...银幕上还打出了。。。

萧敬腾Mr Rock演唱会

只有23岁的他，3月13号完美结束了他在新加坡的演唱会。
我只能说，这场演唱会确实像想像中一样，值回票价。

开场之前，已坐满了人。。。

灯光暗了下来。。。演唱会终于开始了。

不太会说话的他，话少歌多。
开场时就唱了超多首high歌，又唱了好多不同语言的歌。。。
有"Desperado",《上海滩》，《无言花》还有一首日语歌。

唱完首首high歌后，就是慢歌了，然后是才艺表演－打爵士鼓。
歌声依然很稳。

这唱场演唱会很有诚意，用的是Live band 和 Live orchestra。

演唱会的灯光也很有”诚意“。灯光都是跟着节奏，跟着歌曲的起伏走着，有为演唱会的气氛加分。

不太会说话的他，也用了妙招和观众说话，也让他能够换下一套服装。

精彩的来了。传说中他苦练已久的一连串舞曲。
P.S 因为在youtube找到拍的更更更清楚的影像所以决定po她拍的。

During my last semester in school, I tried bidding for the new Korean class that NUS finally set up. Since it was my last semester, I had the advantage to throw in all my points without reservation.
But guess what?
I was still outbid by others.

Recently I was inspired to learn Korean again, but have little faith in myself (afraid that it'll be 三分钟热度). Dun wanna waste my money to invest in this if eventually I give up. Thus to test myself, I decided to self study. If I could persevere and sure that it's not 三分钟热度 then I will invest and take courses.

For now, I borrowed various materials from my friend and bought this book which comes with a CD.

This is worst than last night. I was fine in the morning...but temperature suddenly went up again once the sun sets.

Had not really fell ill for a long time (probably a year). Other times that I took MC was due to fatigue.

I heard a piece of good news today! My dentist told me that once the very last gap between my teeth closes, I could take my braces off 2 months later. It might take longer than 2 months, but I believe before my church camp and Hong Kong trip in June, my braces will be off. YES!

这个星期过得比较特别一些。我发现了一个很好的节目，电视台， GoodTV。听到了许多访问，从访问中听到了许多见证，而得到许多鼓励。听到那些见证后，心里有说不出的快乐。听到后觉得主真的好好。虽然来自不同的教会，不同的国家，但他们与神经历过的。。。被感动过的，都听起来那么的收悉。这让我体会到“Goodness of God is everywhere."

很多人会觉得信耶稣直会有更多的约束。。。但上帝不是用这些律法来约束我们而是改变我们的心, 改变我们的价值观～
就是因为这些打从心底的改变，让我们少了这世界的约束，那些让我们因此而空虚的约束。没有的这世界的约束，有了另一种解脱与自由。

现在依然学着如何live in the world but not for the world。虽然常常还会觉得自己没有什么才华，但我现在所有的，有能力付出的，我都希望能献给祂，因为我打从心底地很爱祂，也知道祂有多么的爱我。

Since I am unemployed for 3 months...I decided to continue what I stopped doing in university...Accessories making.

This time round, seems like I have better ideas~ Maybe because I plan before I buy the raw materials. This is seriously addictive. Everyday Im just trying to find new ideas...come out with new designs. Whenever I have an idea in mind, I just cant wait to execute it and make the accessories. Hopefully this time round, with more effort put in, this small business will work. First to earn a little and second to continue this accessories making hobby (need $$ to buy more and nicer materials~).

无所事事未必是件好事～

因为太闲，常胡思乱想。。。想有的没的，没的有的。。。但往往都不是开心的事
现在胡思乱想到我自己受不了的阶段。常问自己 ”为什么想那么多～？烦不烦啊～“。
为什么我那么讨厌自己想有的没的，没的有的？因为常常就是会把没的想到有的。。。本来平静的心情都被自己搞乱了。
想了一想后，自信心在这一季又感觉被打垮了。有时对事又变得特别sensitive。

2008年过得平静，学业成绩变好了，也没特别苦恼或痛苦的事发生，很庆幸。但也许2008年我没比2005，2006，2007年那么rely on Him, get closer to Him...所以2008年也没有特别高兴或feel very joyful.

虽然2008年的最后一个季节过得如此。I know for sure things will get better. Working on the reflection of 2008 right now, though I might be able to remember what really happened in 2008 (which is usually the case for me), I am sure I am determined not to waste my 2009 away. I am sure that I desire and want 2009 be a fresh start, a fruitful year once again. 新的一年，新的希望！

Job Search

Have been searching for jobs actively for the past few weeks. Sadly no co had got back to me. Hopefully someone will give me the opportunity to kickstart my marketing career.

Anyway haha the $ in my bank is depleting, might have to get some allowance from dad to last me thru till I get my 1st pay. This is a season of planning, of uncertainty, of testing faith.:)

Here are a list of things I hope to get when I finally have my own income...some are necessities cos my gadgets are dying on me:P

曾经以为。。。有才华～有为别人着想的心～细心～对身边的事都尽心尽力。。。就行了～

但我因此也见识到那些我曾经以为在“我在乎的人”的眼里会是重要的条件，都并非我想像中的重要～

醒悟后～有点难以负荷～我自己深信的逻辑被毁了～现在有时还是会觉得自己好像因此而有点迷失～但也不想刻意地想办法去了解，重新组织我的逻辑～因为觉得太复杂了～是无法完全理解的。所以就别想那么多了吧～

女人怎么说都是感情的动物～疗伤时间比男人久。也较重感情。傻傻地烦恼自己为什么会为某些事烦恼～后悔自己之前的不理智。。。女人唔易做啊。努力忘掉后悔，努力忘掉烦恼～继续往前走，就当作上了一堂课吧。还是快快乐乐地做真正的自己。

近期我也才真正的领悟到《勇气》里的一小段歌词－ “爱真的需要勇气，来面对流言蜚语” This is just so true for me. 以前的我害怕错过，现在的我更害怕面对流言蜚语～所以。。。

想念＝逃避？

在忙碌之中，开始想念七月的台北旅程。想念在台北西门丁逛。。。想念从台北捷运站步行回Taiwanmex。。。想念每天晚上到便利商店。。。想念台北的“五岚”，“传奇”，“派克”。。。想念台北的士林夜市，五份埔，渔人码头。。。想念台北的101，NYNY。。。

我要回台北！再一次享受那里的美食，风景，街道。

也许这种想念是种逃避～逃避每天跟着时间赛跑～逃避每天忙着哽书，应考，交作业～

让想念带我逃离现状，环游台北5分钟。

听起来很emotional。哈哈可是我写for fun的,没有那么emotional啦。可是我真的好像现在就飞到台北玩:P。
虽然没有得回台北，但最少这个礼拜六我会看到我的”taiwan trip's buddies"。难得在这个短短的旅程就认识了这批人。

其实真的很想快点毕业。虽然很多人都说读书比较好。可是我读到闷了，该是时候换换环境。也许会有挫折，也许会有不如意的事～也许这个时候甚至找工作会有点困难，虽然心里也多多少少会有点不安，但还是深信my God will provide.

For a week I did not have my laptop with me cos the hard disk crashed and I need to replace the whole entire hard disk. This also means that all the data in it will be gone. After a week, last Wednesday, I finally got it back~

Now it's really time to look for job since I only have 2 months more before graduation. I dont know how optimistic the situation is especially now with the economic downturn. Such things are really out of control, only thing that I can do is to continue to pray. Praying for job opportunities~ Applied for Brand Executive position at Nestle (though with the Melamine issue). I like the job scope, hope that I will be called up for at least the interview.

For 2 weeks I have not went out...other than church and school and...maybe...clementi central. 1st week was due to my wisdom teeth extraction...too tired too go out and dont want to go out with a squarish, swollen face. BUT this week is a mad rush week in school~ Cant believe that in the 4th week of school, I'm tt busy~ a "mystery" quiz on this coming Monday which means that I have to finish my OB's reading...and a case presentation for Org Theory on this coming Tues...Stayed in school till 8pm on last Tues...and 10pm on Thurs (O_O)

Anyway got to come home early on a Sunday jus to complete my reading and my case presentation slide...sian~ Can't wait to have a break just for me to go out and walk around in town. To relieve "stress" and "release" myself~ I'm going to "pon" one of my lect to have a haircut on Tues before I go for worship band practice. I can't find a time slot that I can free myself up to go for the haircut. And my hairstylist is @ Tampines, I need to plan my time well just to travel there =P. Anyway that lecture is not that important, I can read my notes to understand it. hee~

Next week seems to be a pack week too...I want a break on Sunday!!! That's my aim~ No studying on Sunday~ Just that I failed to attain it this week...

This week is really a packed and busy week. Knowing that I was going to have my wisdom teeth extracted on Wednesday(27th), I quickly met up with the Taipei clique for my birthday dinner. We had yummy Sakae Sushi dinner Buffet.

Here's my birthday gift from them. Nice green clutch. Love it~

Finally the day for my wisdom teeth extraction came at 8.30am. I need to pluck out 4 wisdom teeth and 2 normal teeth at one go. Hence, I went under General anaethestic for the surgery. Prayed really hard for the success of the surgery as I had never undergo GA before. It's scary...worrying that there might be a possibility of me being allergic to anaethestic. Thank God~ the surgery was a success. I woke up!

It wasn't as scary as I thought. After I lied on the surgery bed, before I knew it, I was put to sleep. When I woke up, everything was done and I was in a ward. However, I woke up suffering from the side effects of anaethestic - giddy and puke-y~

Finally when I entirely regained my consciousness, it was already 3+ pm.
And soon at 6 plus, my dinner was served. Seriously, it isn't that bad to stay in hospital when you are ill, you have nurses who take real good care of you. Hospital food isn't yucky too. I thought the food tasted quite nice.

FIR Concert

Last Fri I went for FIR concert. I did feel a little guilty since i skipped CG for it. My sis and I waited for their concert since their very first album which is probably 4 years ago. Promised my sis then that we will go to their concert together when they have one in Singapore. And who knows... it was scheduled on a Fri...and so...

However, after the concert I didnt feel as guilty as I see God's work in the concert too~
I think FIR concert was good, despite of bad sound system etc...but FIR, it's really about their music... Guess what, to me, the best part of the concert was not when Faye sang really well...or when Jam Hsiao came out to perform...but it was at the end of it when Faye and Real thank God (I was actually waiting for it~haha)

Real said something like：
“我和飞有一位好朋友。虽然他现在不在这里（i think 阿沁指的是观众席）blah blah blah..
他就是我们的神。”

I cheered loudly once he said that Haha~ out of the silence in the stadium. Cos praise God, His name is proclaimed even in such situation. I think it's amazing.

During the concert, video about Faye and Real were played...Real's was about him wearing a 'armour' (a self defence protection I suppose)...pursuing for things that he thought he will be happy after he achieved it. However, after achieving it, he wasnt happy until one who showed love and taught him to remove his 'armour'. While Faye's was about her who was once a girl who can't speak in front of a crowd but now singing in front of crowds, who went through period that she felt lost and miserable till someone who showed her the love. Many will think and relate Faye's someone to be Real and Real's to be Faye since they are couple. My sis and I felt that the someone they were talking about might be God. So I went home and googled, and I was assured, from one of Real's testimonies that was posted online, that my sis and I were right . Things matches. Of cos, there are still rules of this world so it cant be made obvious in the video when they are played in public, a non christian event.

My sis then asked me, since they are so active, why didnt they make a compilation of Christian songs, gathering numerous artistes who are Christians just like what the western celebrities did. I didnt know how to answer my sis then but guess what?! They did it, just that both of us didnt know. It's called 《希望》Hope... by New Life Church (the church that they belong). Several celebrities were gathered to produce this album.

At times, I feel that people might had stereotyped people from this circle. However, I believe that each of us are called to be in different industries. Whether you are doctor...or a scientist or a pilot...or businessman...a pastor...a missionary or a celebrities. Ultimately the important thing is, with the talents that God had given us and wherever God placed us in, did we use these talents to glorify ourselves? or glorify Him?
Celebrities inevitably get the fame...the attention...the popularity. However, despite of these, are they still walking close to God? Glorify Him in their ways? doing God's work? I guess it's difficult for us to judge or maybe we cant even judge them.

Anyway I am really glad to know that there are brothers and sisters who are declaring their faith even in the entertainment industry.

The day is finally here to fulfill my dream to go to Taipei!
For the past 8 years, I had been wanting to go Taipei but didn't.
As all my travel buddies were already there, I would have to take the plane alone. Finding and figuring out my way was really fun. I realise that I love to travel alone. It's a challenge. :)

Departure @ 1pm

After 4hours of flight and making booboo during the journey, I finally touched down at International Airport.

Discovery #1: I thought the airport is at Taipei, but to my surprise it's at Tao Yuan~桃园

I had to take FreeGo "飞狗"bus to Taipei and I requested to alight at
Zhong Shan Metro Station "中山地铁站“ which is near to my hostel.

Discovery ＃2: Heard from many people that Taiwan people are friendly...but why?! Why did I meet a guy who kicked my luggage
when I was crossing the road...dragging my bulky luggage on the uneven road.

It's a really long story how I managed to find my hostel. Finally when I
reached, Sock Sian and gang were not in the hostel and I was hungry and
thirsty. So here comes my very first purchase in Taipei: “传奇”珍珠奶茶！

Discovery #3: 台湾珍珠奶茶的珍珠filled 1/3 of the cup.
The pearls are really Q (aka chewy) and the 奶茶is really really good. I miss it!!!

When I managed to contact Sock Sian and gang, my next challenge is to travel
to Xi Men Ding 西门丁 by myself to meet them. I'm impressed with myself, how
I could find my way to 台北车站 from the hostel all alone and travel to 西门丁.

Finally, I get to see 西门丁 that I had always seen on the TV with my own eyes...

我喜欢音乐。虽然我对音乐不在行，不会任何乐器，不会读乐谱，还不会欣赏各种不同的音乐。
可是我还是喜欢音乐尤其是华人音乐。甚至我能说我以华人音乐为傲。
当身边有人贬低华人音乐的时候，我有时还会因此而反驳对方。

对我而言，华人流行音乐是种文化。一首歌的词就像一首诗。
总觉得很奥妙的是平常言语中的一个句子竟然能在一首歌里在短短的五六个字内很丰富，很有画面感地
表达出来。不用多说但却能把意思和感觉都传达出来～不可思议～

有人说华人音乐怎么老是唱来唱去都是情情爱爱。我觉得这句话还蛮错的。
有歌曲是关于：
亲情：温岚的《同手同脚》
希望：林俊杰《爱与希望》
还有其他主题的歌呢～

而且我们华人不是注重情感的吗？I think this explains where chinese songs are all about relationship. Seriously, if not what else can we really talk about? I think relationship is inevitable in one's life.

昨天和姐姐看周杰伦的演唱会dvd的时候，我们就聊了这个。因为，天啊～方文山的词超难了解的。
有一定的华文水准也未必能了解整首歌。解剖他写的歌也是种挑战。我姐也觉的其实英文歌曲胜于他们
的歌唱技巧。西方人嘛～肺活量比亚洲人的大，声音比较厚而且有power.可是我也觉得虽然华人不能
胜于power，但我们的歌唱技巧也用了不同的元素来“弥补”啊～

唱华文歌曲并非容易，唱时必须有情感，有口气等等。。。
power是outward的，可是情感和口气可是inward的。。。
总结来说，我觉得华文流行音乐不单单是一种娱乐，它是种文化。
如果词曲写得很美的话～甚至是一个artpiece～

我不是夸张～我只是以华人音乐为傲～我只是喜欢华人音乐～

Just this week, I was notified that as a NUS student I can have free admission to the following National Museums:
- Asian Civilisations Museum
- National Museum of Singapore
- Singapore Art Museum
- the new Peranakan Museum

The last time that I went to a museum was probably during my lower sec school days. With the free time I have, I have a sudden urge to visit these museums during my weekdays. Since it's difficult for me to find another nus student who is interested and free to go, I dont mind to go alone. This might help me to 提升我的艺术气质～haha~ I was planning to go to the Shanghai Toy Museum too when I know the price is affordable, in fact it's cheap. I love vintage toys...

I think it's time to explore and move around Singapore.

林宥嘉的这首新歌让我对“伯乐”这个词感到非常好奇。。。结果在网上查了后发现：

"伯樂"的意思

伯樂的原本意思是：
( 1 ) 有眼光的人或賞視你的人

但是在這首歌裡的意思是：
( 2 ) 在感情上會欣賞你的人，也可以說是你的另一半。

了解了意思后，对这首歌的了解也多了。MV 我和Ivana都看得有一点污水～但我只知道林宥嘉在MV里是个宽宏大量的人。当女主角即将进入他的心时，却离开了他。但他却没有阻止。

今天终于下雨了～
微微的凉风～舒服。
连空气也好像清晰多了。
突然好想念12月的天气噢
能穿着长袖的天气，不流汗的天气

前天到了机场送机，因为Alicia要到香港长期在那里工作。转眼间我们的大学生活就这样慢慢的告一段落。
我超享受自己在机场走来走去的感觉～是high的咯～自high。感觉就是很舒服。。。
机场里的宁静。。。一个人的清静。。。
看着板上即将起飞的班机，到各国的班机，我就好想好想出国噢～提者行李独自旅行。
虽然再过几个星期我就会独自飞到台北去，但不是独自旅行。但这也好，让我感受一下独自达飞机到国外的感受。

我以前从不会crave to travel.可是不知怎么的尤其是今年。。。好像突然疯狂的爱上旅行～想到各国去玩，去看看。今年是台北。。。台北后就想存钱到香港。。。然后有机会想到法国巴黎 since i have relative over there。如果家人放心的话，我可愿独自旅行。一，省下找伴同游的麻烦～二，享受独自旅行的自由。当然有时会感到无聊，但重觉得独自旅行会很adventurous.

YES! I'm going for F.I.R World Tour Concert 2008~ Have been waiting for it for real long. Since their 1st album, my sis and I have been looking forward to the day that they have a concert in Singapore. Great music, great voice, great performance.

After much consideration and strategising, my sis and I finally decided our choice of seats. I chose the section that is on the left hand side of the stage as I predict that ah qin will be standing there. haha~ So I went down to IMM sistic today and tried my best to get the seats we wanted. And Yes! I did!

Here are my seats. T24 Row 13 (which is the 1st row of that section), seats 1 to 3.

Looking forward to it! A great performance and enjoyment of songs ahead! =)

Back from camp

Finally I'm back from Camp Glorious 2008.

It was a great camp. Great break. Great refreshment.

I had enough time to rest, to play, to be ministered. At least, it's for sure like a fuel that kept me moving. It feels great to soak myself in God's words, to worship Him without caring who is next to me. It feels so much better to be ministered and to hear from God that I am on the right path. Though there are there might be times that are difficult. It might be still a long journey...it's even a narrow and wavy path...but knowing that I am on the right path, that I do not need to hesitate and look back, it gives me so much more courage to continue this journey though it might be tough and weary at times. It keeps me going and persevere on. It's such an important thing to keep me going and know that all my hard work before was not gone to waste. That in God's eyes I am still faithful.

Though there's still so much things to learn..I know all is worth it.
I still need to learn to be secured in God...secure with myself...but at least I laid all my bad experience, all my rejections, all my insecurity in front of God already. Journey to become a secured woman is in process. Thinking about my 1st camp when the same issue was prayed over me, I'm so MUCH secure now. Though there are still 'residue' left, but slowly it will decrease...as God is dealing with it bit by bit. Yeah!

昨天灵感汹涌而来～猛用手机把一个一个字打出来～发现这样时间还过的真快～写的我也真是过瘾。

虽然一个一个字都含有一些我心里的感想～但肯定的是我也把它搞得戏剧化一些～不戏剧化怎么会有画面感呢～

我还是擅长写诗多过于写词。诗不需melody...所以比较容易。可是我下定决心要把我的诗变成词儿～！lol

刚看完了《泪光闪闪》aka "Nada Sou Sou"...

又是一出让人伤心难过的戏。男主角 "Nii Nii" （哥哥的意思）最后就这样死去～我还真的不甘心～为什么那么年轻～那么好的男人编剧要他死呢？不甘心～:P

Nii Nii去世之前送了个kimono给妹美（没有血缘关系的）。NiiNii去世后，妹妹才收到那个礼物～NiiNii在信里的约定因此是indirectly的实现。。。到了最后当他们播放《泪光闪闪》这首歌和男女主角照片的时候～鸡皮疙瘩都起来了～

Yesterday...finally~ I went to Sports Club and jogged. Argh~ Stupid and silly me~ Totally forgot that I just ate my dinner less than an hour ago and ran 5km...
5km...such an achievement after months of slacking. But not when I puked after the run. It was really horrible feeling and sight. Oh well...but I felt perfectly fine after I vomited my entire dinner which left my tummy empty again...

虽然知道这部戏是以悲剧收场可是对我这个看悲剧很难掉泪的人来说，是个挑战。

看戏当儿～我一直怀疑男主角是否是个混蛋。欺骗女主角。因为他拥有的责任感对一个染了满头银白发，又在D班的男生来说，还真难以相信，还以为他只是做作吧了～结果他就是那么有责任感。

这也是我第一次觉的染了一头白发的人既然会那好看～酷～就坏坏的感觉。

Record Breaking

This week was a record breaking one for me.
Never had I stayed in school for project till 12am and take a cab home.
Never had I ate my "dinner" at 2+am.
Never had I stayed up overnight and slept only at 7am to complete a group report.

Ok. This really sound as if I am complaining...but it's really Record breaking~

Record breaking in studies
Felt blessed in terms for studies this semester. So far, I have been doing well. I felt God is being so gracious to me despite of time when I just neglected/forgotten about Him cos of my busyness.

I am just an average student..and my CAP is still at 3.66...
However this semester, for my quizzes and assignments I did well. In fact surprisingly exceptionally well. Thank God!

I felt this sem is more meaningful too. Thank God I found a group of Christians who are also on fire to do God's work. Found them through Facebook. Now I totally appreciate the impact and usefulness of Facebook.

Record breaking
I finally confirmed my dates to go to Taipei too. 4 July to 10 July~ Yeah!!!
My 6 years' dream is finally going to be fulfilled!

On Tuesday, I finally could go out and relax. I packed my whole day with things one after another.

1) After school, I went home then out to Mediacorp to get my "L change the WorLd" Movie Hamper.
OK movie hamper sounds too BIG. It only consists of a CD album by Lenny Kravitz who sang the theme song for the movie and a chocolate thumbdrive. Though the hamper is small but I love the thumbdrive. Closely related to L who loves to eat sweet stuff.

2) I went to Lido to meet my sis to watch "L change the WorLd". This time round the movie has less twists as compare to Death Note 1 and 2. However, this movie is funny as it focused alot on L's character, his hunch, his sweet tooth. The way he reacted to the kids was funny. I thought his way of typing on the Macbook was interesting too. 名副其实的praying mantis' way of typing. I actually imitated his way of jumping off and on the sofa and his way of typing when I went back home. And I showed it to my sis. haha
Anyway I just love L this character. So innocent yet smart...so pure...so cute.

3) After the movie I head off to Bugis Chapter 2 to have my haircut.

4) After haircut, I went to meet Justina at Bugis Junction. Mayday was actually there for the promotion of their concert. Cant get to have a good look as I was quite far.
Had a short catch up and dinner with Justina and we just shopped around for a while.

I can say that it is a "fruitful" day. Got lots of things done within a day.

Side Note:
God has been speaking to me alot about TRUST these days... Not easy...but the word is TRUST.

Caleb's Wedding

Today is Caleb's wedding, I was helping out as a projectionist. There were quite alot of things that went wrong technically while setting up and I was alone. Everyone was busy so it's difficult to get the attention of others too. Looking at the time that was running out, it was really stressful. When I was at my peak of stress, I just prayed to God, cos that was how much I was able to do. Thankfully, everything went fine after that. Though stressful but I guess it's worth it. By helping out is my way of blessing the couple. =)

There are so many weddings in church. Everytime when I attend one...I always find the bride so pretty. Check out what kind of music that they used...their wedding photos...the decoration of the venue.

Sometimes I really wonder how I will look in wedding gown...thinking what kind of wedding gown I want...think what kind of music will I want to use...what kind of pose I want for wedding photos (I wont mind suggesting some of my ideal pose to the photographer). HAHA~but with all these, the groom always has a blank face in my imagination. It's still an unknown. When the groom and bride were on the stage and back facing the audience...

Oh well, such imagination will just hold for a day. After the wedding, I wont imagine such things again.

29th Feb, Leap Year

I have decided to write an entry on the 29th Feb since it's a Leap year...The next 29th Feb will be 4 years later. However, I just came back from CG and the exact time is 1/3/08 1.24AM. So I just did some alteration to the post date and time =P

Just on Wed, I finally satisfied my KTV addiction with Lay Theng. Yes just the 2 of us since Zhi Ming is in China for attachment. A shiok session cos we are able to sing all kind of songs...Songs that are not so popular...that are very new...that are very old too. This is the first time that I manage to sing male singers' songs by changing the key. It definitely fulfilled my desire to sing those songs. Even though KTV addiction is satisfied on Wed, I won't mind going for another one again(if I have time).

Anyway, I won "L Change the World" movie hamper! When I knew it I immediately smsed my sis about it. I joined a U channel contest not too long ago and thought that I didnt win it since it has been 2 weeks since I emailed my entry. But I got it! I won it!
I dunno what's inside the hamper...haha~ maybe I can find lollipop and chocolate in the hamper.=P I think I will collect it from Mediacorp on Tues before watching "L Change the World" movie with my sis in town. *grinz

Another thing that I was pretty surprised about and thank God for. I think He is really gracious to me even though in the midst of busyness, I admit that I neglected Him at times. Yet, He still blessed me in my studies.
I thought I screwed up my Consumer Behaviour quiz as I was plainly squeezing things out to write and I tot I didnt answer those question well. At times I am troubled and anxious how I will fare for my modules this sem when I am already screwing things up. This is especially so when I felt last semester was much smoother for me. However, to my surprise, I did well, in fact very well. I even wonder if the result is finalised and whether my tutor made a mistake. Anyway, really just give thanks for it.

I here declare that I am officially 49kg!!! Finally, a 1 kg gain from 48 to 49kg.
Like what both Sharon and I agreed, for us, we grow by grams not kg. Pls dont bash me up. I guess you will be like me if you are in my shoes:)

And I had decided to purchase the coffee prince diary. I didnt get it at $34, I manage to find one that is $27. This also means that I need to save on other things again =)
I guess I will only receive the diary 2-3weeks later...since it's a spree.

Last Sun, my dad helped me to change the frame of my bed. The "new" frame is too huge...so he had to shift the furniture in my room in order to fit the frame in. Now, the whole orientation of my room changed. Feels like a new room. Feels good..something fresh and "new". I love my room again!

Yeah! I'm back. Finally felt like writing a new blog entry...

Just a few updates. Hurray! I finally got a tuition assignment yesterday. P4 Higher chinese at West Coast Walk (super near my house). Pray hard that I can cope with it. Dun really know how's P4 higher chinese standard like. Going to start teaching real soon...this coming Wednesday.

Anyway, I saw this notebook on spree...

ahhh~ I want it so much but I wonder how necessary it is as it will cost me $34. I love it. Coffee Prince. The printing is nice and it consists of 540pages. Still deciding if I should get it. Everytime I look at it, I'm just tempted...but do I have the $$?

DIY Time

I was at home the entire Saturday. I was enjoying my last Saturday before school reopen. Packing my room, making sure it is cosy enough for a new school semester. And while watching Hana Yori Dango Series 2, I made many DIY items.

Taiwan Trip

I guess I really really want to go Taiwan this year...I'm determined...after 6 years...

Money ...I'm saving with all my might...
Company... I'm still finding...I'm praying hard that Sock will be able to go with me.

Last night,I actually dream about my holiday to Taiwan...(funny thing is...I got there by ferry?!) I woke up twice...realising that it's a dream but continue to sleep again so that the dream will continue...surprisingly..for twice...it continued =p

But it's cool~ Sock called me yesterday to check with me when Typhoon usually hits Taiwan as she has an opportunity to choose to go Taiwan or Hong Kong for summer exchange in June and July. She opted Taiwan as her first choice. So the probability of her going Taiwan with me will be much higher now... If she really gets her exchange. Most probably we will go in June...so that we can save on accommodation and stay in her hostel. (Provided that she is posted to Taipei) We will save alot more and shop alot more!!! Yippie!

Seriously...I wish I will have an opportunity to go Taiwan for attachment or anything that I can stay there for 2-6 mths. I think that will be fun...but haiz...graduating soon...such opportunities are real difficult to find~

Oh well shall see how things will go:)

Holiday ending...

For so so so long.... I had not updated my blog...Felt so lazy during this holiday.

Anyway, thank God for my result this semester. It was good. The best out of my whole entire uni life.

This year...I guess will be a really exciting year. It will be my last year of school. It will be the time that I seek for a job that I desire...It will be a year for me to learn driving...Most importantly, I strongly believe that it will be a year that I am transformed inside out *grinz

If I say that I am totally not worried about my future..my career...i guess I am lying to you. I am anxious... I am curious...I am excited...I dont know what is ahead of me. However, I believe and trust that God will provide. I guess feelin a little anxious about it makes me a human =)

Haiz...this will be the last week of holiday...It's school again. It feels furnie to me for some reason (I also dunno). It will be a good one!

最近我觉得最好的网页是www.omy.sg。它真的包容了许多东西～有新闻，娱乐，有有趣的部落格。。。

我就常看lifestyle session 里的〈Andy's Palette〉。Vodcast里会教我们如何化妆。。。每一个星期都会有不同的主题。

最近我也在OMY看到了两个很有趣（也许应该说是我有兴趣～）的部落格。

1) Taipei Student Exchange Blog
竟然真的有新加坡学生在台北student exchange。而且好像也是NUS的学生。看了他的部落格还真的蛮有趣的～台湾的景点。。。娱乐。。。校园生活。。。

＊请注意！大部分OMY的东东都是以华文写的～

2）Kewei's Blog
真的觉得这个女生的声音很好听。记得她曾经要参加SUPERSTAR，可是中途退出因为她得跟着David Tao到处做巡回演唱会，当演唱会里的vocalist。

最主要的。。。到她的部落格能听到她的歌声。。。也太专业了吧～她好像还有帮忙唱demo。

还有很多很多。。。

现在网上越来越多类似的网页，例如：www.xin.sg, 还有Mocca。网页都利用了年轻人最常用的Podcast, Vodcast, Video, Blog等等。最重要的是它不是死板板的网页，它让读者参与。（This is marketing!!!)

音乐

这几天天气真的转凉了。。。今天还听到DJ说这几个星期会有暴风雨。听起来好夸张，夸不夸张只能等暴风雨真的来时才知道。至少应该不可能把我给吹走。。。可是也许会有多个地方会淹水吧～

我现在在看《SPOP!Hurray!》～这个节目真的很棒～回味新加坡音乐人的创作～从80年代一直到现在～改变真的很多。。。可是音乐人的努力终于让新加坡在华人音乐里闯出了名堂～（＊现在好像也快要闯进了影坛）
重听他们的创作和歌声还满爽的。

我觉得音乐真的很棒～虽然我不懂得乐器。。。没有真正的学过音乐。。。可是真的觉得音乐超有感染力的。。。不只是单单只有音符。。。歌词。。。它还能转达出一个人的情感～让你脑海里呈现出画面～
还真的好希望我曾经学过音乐～

完了。。。我的ipod再一次休克。。。考试完了，会更常出门。。。搭巴士地铁时没有音乐听。。。完了。。。
如果这一次真的休克的话。。。就真的糟糕了～还在存钱的我可没有钱没新的。。。（＊哭～）

咳～现在只能希望ipod会快点复原。。。

台北～

慧娴真的要去台湾！！！明年中我一定要去～我受不了了。。。不能再拖了。。。都已经拖了五年了。该是完成”愿望“的时候了。

虽然我还在找伴陪我到台北。。。虽然我还在努力地设法存多七百元。。。我已经不顾一切地慢慢计划五月的行程。从来没自己计划出国旅行行程。。。没自己订过机票。。。对这些事都一窍不通的我。。。就得慢慢的摸索。不管多麻烦，我还是要到台北玩～

我已经找到几位能带我到处逛逛的台湾朋友。我甚至连能去的教会都打听好了（＊厉害吧～）我计划。。。也许五月初的星期三或四出发～乘搭Jetstar的飞机到台北。那星期天我能到教会看看，看和新加坡的有什么不同。。。在台北玩个7－8天才回来新加坡。

我和朋友拿了一些她以前收集关于台北的资料。。。当我的参考～

这次到台北玩的目的是～真正的体会当台湾人的滋味～自我挑战的是尽权利融入他们的文化。让他们不知我是新加坡人（＊单一定会有破绽～）

这一次，我一定要成功的到台北去～我会坚持这次的决定到最后。。。（但最担心的还是。。。没有伴～没有伴，这次的计划就会泡汤了～）虽然我是很想不顾一切的自己去。。。可是还是太危险了。。。）

我要到美麗華百樂園去！！！我最爱的。。。摩天轮～！

It's not for my glory to desire to stand on the stage one day to worship God. (can be vocalists too)
Probably I was just getting impatience with what I seems to clearly hear from God in this area. Maybe I had interpreted wrongly...

It just worries me when I am not place in a single use as an instrument in worship. I start to wonder again if that is really what God wants me to do... Did I try too hard to testify what I heard from God?

Many forget my encounter...but the encounter is too amazing for me to forget...it reassured me so much to pull through the failures in this area. However, I guess it's time to ask God again if this is something He wants me to do...

I do not find stage is all about glamorous especially when it's a platform to serve God.
It's not just about standing on stage.
All I want is to be used in something that I am once assured that He wants me to do.
All I want is to play a part in worship...to minister to people through songs...to draw people (even unbelievers) closer to God through these songs...

I dont even think at this point of them I am ready. Looking at the commitment the worship team has. I guess...I am impatient...or probably worried at this point of time...as I don't see it coming in any way...Everything right now seem to be I planned rather than God planned unlike the past (eg. to continuing attend vocal class)

Starting to doubt..."God is this something that You want me to do? It's scary...cos it seems like I had interpreted wrongly..."

I am fine with my position now serving as a projectionist. I know it's where God place me at this point of them. Though I struggle, I know I am still serving God. And I want to serve Him.

It's hard to be expressed everything through words...

End of Semester

I still have a project to be cleared by Wednesday and my HRM term paper which I aim to complete by this Friday. Then I can start my revision for exam by then.

Joleen's Birthday

Yesterday went out with my JC clique to celebrate Joleen's birthday.

Glad that we are still in contact and going out. I am glad that I am able to join them too.

Anyway, Oh my goodness~ Kelvin change his phone again!!! And this time round~ it's a iPhone! Thanks to him, I get to touch and play with a product that is not even out in Asia. haha~ But the layout is real nice~ (of cos, since it's designed by Apple).

Had Fish & Co. last night and I had the stingray meal with rice. Rmb that James and Sharon said that the Stingray is nice...so I tried. It's really good~ I was happily eating~ It's so meaty~! Then we went to Cafe Cartel to chill~ Only left town at around 12. Oh well, but I had a great time with them. I'm sure Joleen enjoyed this birthday outing too:)

每次我知道有人因为主而有好大，好不可思议的改变，我都会觉得很高兴～也会被再一次提醒God is just so great～我真的碰过很多改过自新的人。。。都是因为主而改变～He is just too amazing.

也许因为我以前不是很坏很坏～只是自信心出现了问题～所以认识主后是有改变～但不是惊天动地的。所以让我碰到有惊天动地改变的人，我都会感到很兴味，很感动。也许我以前一直一来就是因为会被这些事感动，而对这能让别人有惊天动地改变的主，感到好奇。想去认识主。而我现在做到了。

我总希望能在学校能认识一些兄弟姐妹～可是总觉得商科好像都没有。。。可是突然～还真的知道有一些是基督徒。可是奇怪的是为什么都不认识他们啊～怎么两年半了从没有机会认识过。

这个学期认识了不少～虽然都不是很熟。可是这一次也让我碰到一位有惊天动地改变的人。可惜同样的我没有机会认识，而且大家都快毕业的。能认识的机会也应该越来越少了吧～也许只有多1个月多罢了～天啊！

可是说真的因为在学校知道有这种兄弟姐妹的存在～i feel very encouraged.就想今天一样~the passion is going to be burning again.

咳～假期完了。。。好忙好忙的一个星期啊～怎么办？？？
还好。今天的presentation顺顺利利地完成了。礼拜五的individual presentation我也做好了。
还有礼拜六的gene and society test 要吭完。。。还有business strategy的一个case要完成。

星期一我睡过头！！！9点的课，我竟然9.37am才起身。如果leonard没sms我，问我有没有来上课的话，都不知道我会睡到几时。还好我在break的时候赶到学校。

这个学期好不一样。
